Theatre is a form of knowledge. It should and can also be a means of transforming society. - Augusto Boal

  • Playful

Theatre should always be fun. With a background in PACE training, a willingness to get on board and a game of grandmother’s footsteps. Anything can happen.

I currently work as a faciliatior with Little Angel Theatre, Half Moon Theatre, Moving Waves, Artburst and Attic Theatre.

I have had the opportunity to craft, puppeteer, play, write, sing and reflect with young people. I like to challenge, try and learn from experience to try again. Working with a ‘Well why not?’ attitude I have opened avenues of creativity and connections regardless of age, gender, or background.

  • Inclusive

I constantly challenge myself to see how can we keep the partipants voices at the centre of all we do. I am trained in Makaton levels 1-2, recently was part of the National Theatre’s Inclusion Collective and work as the senior wellbing practatior at DreamArts. Where I not only lead sessions with trauma-informed care at the forefront of my practice but also offer advice, guide and support the wellbeing team at DreamArts across the Experment Youth Theatre program. I also work in Half Moon’s Youth Theatre, Solar a group exclusively for teenagers with disabilities who feel their needs are better met in a specialist setting with smaller numbers and a higher adult to young person ratio. Working one-to-one or leading a group. I always place safety and inclusion first.

My work aims to welcome everyone into the room and pause when there are moments of learning. My work during my masters degree at Central School of Speech and Drama allowed me to support Art and Health sessions at the NHS and launch my own intergenerational program in 2020 in Nenagh, Tipperay.

  • Growing

Every day we have a chance to learn. During my time as a faciliatior I have never not have a moment of learning, growing and understanding that has shaped my practice. I offer workshops in theatre, music, writing, tarot and more. I love to blend artforms and see what happens!

My workshops have included everything from working within community centers on Star Wars. Singing with young children and their families at London’s transport depot. Creating a queer lens at the tarot, using it as a reflection device. Creating poetry and narration for choir made up of of 50+ and more.
